Suit measurements change over 1 year?

Ok, i was ordering a cosplay costume, but i found out that it won't arrive for the event i planned to use it in. Will my Body Measurements (neck, chest waist, hip, Etc.) change too much over the course of the next year to the point where i won't be able to wear it anymore? or can i just not cancel my order and keep the costume for next year without worrying that it won't fit me as well?
