It is simple: ignorance. I personally believe there are inherit differences (biology and hormones proves that). In addition, some men believe these things because women are easily able to get certain things (jobs, promotions, ect.) because they cause men to think with their second head and not their most important one. Also, some men believe this because of the patriarchal idea of society and people become jealous of other people who they believe have better lives or easier lives. However, most of the people who say stuff like that have those issues.

In 1996 i had a double disc surgery in my neck. They used coral implants with a titanium plate to secure. 3 years ago i had an xray taken that showed the plate had cracked in half. My dad was just messing around and it was an accident. There are CEOs of companies who are on the autism spectrum. A disorder differs from a disease absolutely. However they are not an excuse as much as a description of behavior/thinking patterns. Someone who has severe mood swings due to chemical imbalances in their brain has a disorder that is not in their control however can be controlled with medication. In many cases disorders can cause people to have difficulty maintaining a job due to trouble dealing with other people due to their disorder or the stress of working is too great and has a negative impact on their well being.

I'm not sure if I believe it, but I have heard the older you get when you have the chickenpox the worse it gets. I never had chickenpox, or the shot. My mother also had it twice contradicting the normal amount. I'm not really interested getting the shot, but if I have any children will I need to get it, or will it just pass through like a normal virus?

Preterm labor at 29 weeks?

I'm hoping someone can help....i'm 29 weeks along and over the weekend started having menstrual like cramps that wouldnt let up. Also was having frequent braxton hicks. Went to l&d and found out i was contracting every 3 min and was dilated 1 cm. They gave me 4 shots of terbutaline to slow contractions and took blood and urine samples. Said i wasnt dehydrated and no bladder infection so they didnt know what was causing contractions. Let me go home after 3 hours because cervix wasnt changing. Also said i had microscopic blood in urine but never said why. Went to see my doc monday and he wanted to start me on an antibiotic because he said the main cause of blood in urine is a bladder infection even tho at thehospital they said i didnt have one. Im still feeling crampy and having frequent, but painless contractions. They are always worse in the evening. My doctor didnt even check my cervix when i went in on monday, just said to come back in a week if im still contracting. What could be going on?

Can i still get pregnant if..?

Anytime you have sex you run the risk of getting pregnant. Using any type of birth control decreases your chance for pregnancy but there's still that small chance. Most of the time when a condom breaks you'll be able to see a hole in it. I'm sure there are those rare occasions where there is a microscopic hole in one but that's the chance you take when using that particular form of birth control. I think if you used a condom (or three) with the withdraw method you should be pretty safe.

I think my husband is cheating on me with his boss?

I’ve been married for 2 years and I’ve been together with my husband a total of 5 years. We are both 24 years old. We had our ups and downs lately but I think his into something. 2 years ago he was flirting with one of his co workers until I caught him and he stopped. A year ago he was talking to another co worker at his bank and deleting his phone calls and messages from her. Later he started getting friendly with his boss who is in her early 30’s. He tells me his late and she never writes him up, sometimes he can’t balance the register and she doesn’t write him up. Even his co workers said she has favoritism for him. Lately he’s been erasing his phone calls and texts. He’s been going out supposedly with his best friend but whenever I call he doesn’t answer my calls. In 5 hours he’s not able to get my calls or let me know he is OK. We made an agreement we weren’t going out on our own anymore and in the case we did we had to be back home before 12. It’s been working out pretty good but, on Friday, 3 days ago he tells me he has a BBQ with all his co workers on Sunday. That he is only going for 4 hours the most. I said OK. Last night he leaves at 12 noon and he left with a bag pack and seemed like in a rush to leave. I called him around 3, 4, 5pm and he does not pick up the phone as well as my texts. I call again at 8,9pm and he sends me a text saying he was eating at his sister’s restaurant; he seemed very calm, like nothing happened! When I was trying to get a hold from him in 10 hours!! He tells me he went to have dinner with her boss and his other co workers and then since I was pissed he hangs up on me. He gets home smelling like beer. Went to take a quick shower and we I checked his phone he had ignored all calls but his boss’s. Cmon, a day at the beach when it was cloudy and raining, also he said he was there until 7pm, who leaves the beach that late and when it’s raining! What did he do from 7 to 10 until he went to eat? And he said the bbq was at a certain place and then when I asked again he said another place. Very contradicting. When I confronted him he was laughing all the time that tells me his lying. And honestly when your husband is missing for 10 hours, doesn’t return his calls because (he left his phone in the car) please!! Doesn’t that tell you something? He also added her on Facebook like a week ago; he started opening all my family checking accounts I think just to show off. Also, when he gets ready to go work he asks me, does this tie look good on me? He puts a lot of cologne. I mean to go to work? What the hell?? I don’t know what it is. But apparently he must have done something; he didn’t dial any co worker’s phone numbers during those 10 hours. Only hers!! He even cursed me out really bad and pushed me. He says (I’m going to move out, don’t worry). So I guess he doesn’t care much about me that he can let things go that easily. Later he came to apologize but I ended up sleeping in a sofa. I don’t want this to be fixed and then go back to the same; I don’t think it’s healthy. I am very unhappy. But I think he’s on to something. I need help…any advice, ideas?

Eating just cheese, is kind of gummy and squishy, and I see how some people don't like that. I have been playing guitar for 15 years and consider myself an intermediate player?

Libraries, book stores, hobbies, clubs, sports, classes, a part time job (which will be a good excuse for being out of the house) and will get you some extra money too.. Concentrate on YOUR life. He is not the authority or judge of you. He just sounds like an unhappy, angry depressed man. It is not for you to worry about why. Just say as little as possible to him so he has no reasons to pick on you.(he may work hard to find some anyway).Let it go over your head. A good answer may be "Youre right dad, I will try" although he may even argue with that. Think and concentrate on your own future. Study hard, and get good grades, so that YOU can make YOUR own life what you want it to be with a career you are good at (everyone is good at something) and that you enjoy and that pays well. Realize your Dad has some kind of disturbance,. It is not your job to be a psychologist and try to figure out why. Just look for other trusted adults that can help you with your goals. My yearling (horse) bites and kicks!?

Your yearling sounds exactly like mine did. He is a rescue and had very bad manners. It was to the point that we could not even go into the pasture. One time he reared up and came down on my husbands shoulders and nearly killed him. In January one of my horses coliced. When the vet came out to see him, Rocket was up to his old trick. He was really showing out. So when he took my colicky horse to his hospital, I sent Rocket along too thinking that gelding him would do the trick. WRONG! So I went to my local coop and ask this lady that worked there if she knew of someone who could take him and teach him some manners that wouldn't break me. That afternoon a young man called and told me that not only was he a trainer, but also a farrier. Rocket's feet looked horrible and he refused to stand for the farrier. So I let this young man take him to his farm for three weeks. He worked with him every day and when he brought him home, I thought it was someone else's horse. He is now very calm, stands for the farrier, no longer bites or kicks. I have had a life-long affiliation with horses, but to this day I don't know how to get them to behave, at least with situations such as this one. I strongly suggest you find someoone who has experience with yearlings and send him for some lessons in good manners. Believe me, you will never be sorry for doing this, you will be very thankful. I've had a headache for an entire week now. It hasn't gotten much worse and it hasn't gotten better. I've also been extremely tired and sleeping a lot this week. I just attributed it to my period, but I woke up this morning and I had a lump on the back of my neck. I do have a piercing on the back of my neck which has been red and sore for a few days and the lump, which is about the size of a small grape, is a few inches below it. The lump is sore to touch. Also, I started developing a lot of stiffness in my neck. I also have chills and hot flashes, and my lymph nodes are swollen. I'm seeing a doctor tomorrow, but what could be wrong?

I get those all the time, and some stuff that helps is to put heat on it. What I usually do is take a wet paper towel and put it in a plastic bag in the microwave for about 30 seconds then take it out and just lay on your bed or couch or something until it gets cold. but the main thing that helps is SLEEP. Just sleep a lot and I don't know if it will go away in a day or two but sleep really does help. So if pull it one day then just get more and more sleep each day it will be less painful until finally after aout three or four days its gone, but apply a lot of heat and sleep a lot and maybe it will go away in a day or two.

What digital camera is best?

I've been using my good and old but trusty Olypmus 410 Digital for about 4 years (it was a fab hand-me -down from mom!). It's only 4MP but the images taken are awesome!!! Generally, Olympus cameras are of good quality, comparable to Sony Cybershot and Canon. My uncle owns a Canon IXUS 70 and it's pretty amazing too! I believe that you don't need to spend a lot for a camera especially if you're just gonna use for mere taking pictures. Canon also has this underwater camera (I think it was just with a casing...) as well.

Severely enlarged tonsils with no pain?

Me and everybody that knows me have agreed that my tonsils are probably the gnarliest, nastiest looking tonsils they've ever seen. Not pus wise. My left one is pretty in flamed and has signs of yellowish streaks on it. Weird not clumps or balls of food just like yellowish whitish streaks all over the tonsil but its not that noticeable unless i look real closely in the mirror. The left one is not the problem. Although the right is one is so huge that it is literally dipped into my throat probably halfway, well at least thats how it feels. It is one huge puffy not hard but firm tonsil but when it ends on the bottom is another pink colored firm fleshy tonsil looking growth. They are both the exact same size almost and same color texture almost as if it is made of the same tissue/tonsil. But it is one then it gets a little smaller and another tonsil-looking lump hanging from it in to my throat. It doesnt hurt at all ever, not even to swallow. But it does feel like I have something lodged in my throat and it feels irritating to swallow saliva because nothing makes the feeling go away. Eventually it goes away on its own for a little while and comes back. Then sometimes I have trouble breathing through my mouth so it seems. It hurts if I press on it from the outside under my chin on the side under my jaw like on the neck you can feel the right one since it is so inflamed. I cant really see no pus on the right one but the other day I gargled salt water with a few drops of lime juice and I coughed up to little mushy yellow balls. They looked like tonsil stones but when I saw them I immediately squooshed them with my fingers to feel the texture. They easily pulverized into a mashed potato like substance that smelled awful. These were probably tonsil stones, I dont know. But the problem remains the super huge right tonsil. That looks like a pair of testicles almost. Im 17 I used to smoke cigarettes for almost a year, stupid of me ******* myself up so young, came to my senses and stopped. Hopefully the damage hasnt been officially done and its far away from cancer of the throat. But still I want these gone. Ive been prescribed ampicillin, penicillin (oral & injection), amoxicillin, salt & lemon gargles nothing works. I even went to an ancient mexican healer that healed swollen tonsils by "breaking" some nerves in the neck and arm. (last resort) My father was healed that way and never had problems with his tonsils ever again. But it did not work on me. Some doctors recommend a tonsillectomy but honestly i dont want to get rid of my tonsils, not so much because I need them but Im the kind of person that doesnt like something being ripped out of his body unless its a life and death situation. Im thinking of homeopathy. I dont know, what other options do I have?

Now that I am 25 I can feel when it is going to happen. Im a 15 yr old female, and Ive never really felt like there was something or anything wrong with me. The last couple of months, I've been depressed and having what I think is "Anxiety". (my step dad was forcibly removed from our home,((long story)) so we had to move here to be closer to family, thats what i thought was causing the stress...?) after a while the heaches had gone away, but Now Ive been having different headaches that have been making it difficult to do anything, anymore. My eyes hurt from light(even something thts not very bright) my head hurt worse if one of my brothers or sisters were arguing or screaming at eachother......I had a very short fuse, and would go off on anybody....well I finally convinced my mom to take me to the ER....I had a C.A.T. scan and they said there was nothing wrong, they gave me a prescription for Tylenol/codeine...and sent me on my way. The pills werent really doing anything, except taking away the pain from that specific spot, and moving it to another. Now, about 2 or 3 weeks later, I'm starting to having Jabbing pains in my heart, coming from under neath of my heart, it feels like....(Ive had these before in recent months, my pediatrician said they were growing pains or something...?)....sometimes at night I get freezing cold, my teeth chatter and my muscles in my thighs shake, during the headaches I get pains in my neck, or the bottom of my spine, my ears wont "Pop", and it feels like something's pulling at the back of my eyes, making them Hurt. But right now, im having a pain in my temple, and the ear on that side(left) hurts and feels like a strong ear infection coming on, my stomch also feels weird.....I've also been "Panicky" thinking about death, or how I might die at any second....idk, is there anyone who can tell me whats wrong with me?? My friends thinks its a sinus infection or something, but im not sure....(oh and ive also been having weird pain or kinda throbbing on both sides of my jaw bone, its not that painful but now thats got me deathly afraid and thinking i have LOCK JAW or something...) everyone around me calling me a drama queen and saying i'm just lying for attention is not really helping the situation.....I just sit alone and cry all the time because i don't know whats wrong with me......Can someone tell me????Im srry this is so long...:\

Extream back pain after color guard accident?

We had a well known color guard trainer come and teach us better dancing skills and taught us the backwards sumersault. We had NO mats and we were doung these on a hard wood floor. During the final preformance I did my sumersault but insted of going over my shoulder I went straight back and got stuck on my neck. I was the worst pain I have ever felt! Now a few days have passed and the pain is still not gone AND mt guard instructor is making me start spinning again TODAY! Does anyone know how I could cure my back pain? And also do you think its right that my intructor is making me spin after I could bearly walk for 2 days?

Hi I'm 15 and today while I was playing video games I felt a popping sensation toward the middle of my head more towards where my neck is located. After that I felt a quick sharp pain towards the back of my neck, after the pain my neck felt hot like if it were burning. After theses sensations went away I got another sharp intense pain that started on left side of the back of my neck and it ran up towards the left side of my head and the pain reached my ear. This pain lasted about 30 seconds. Could this be serious? I sometimes get anxious and I'm worried about strokes and aneurysms.

Very bad pain in tailbone, all the way up to my neck.?

Someone kicked me in the tailbone really hard not to long ago, and I basically fell over. I just kept on the ground for about 5 mins, then got up, and it hurt very bad. So for about 3 months i've had swollen lymph nodes in my neck, under my jaw, and in my groin area. Unfortunately I made A very poor choice and IV'd (or so i thought) medication. I think I may of injected 4mg of Dilaudid into an artery, there is a huge bump on my forearm in an irregular shape. It looks like a massive mosquito bight I would say mabye 4cm across. There is also lots of little bumps all around it too. I thought I was in the vein when I injected but when I was dose I got a very weird pricing type pain throughout my arm. I have no pain now and feel fine but this lump is scaring me. When I push down on the forearm it turns white and it turns back to pink within 10 seconds. Im not sure if this is just placebo but im feeling a great pressure in the back on my neck now. Remedies for hyperpigmentation?

i started getting dark patches on my stomach, behind my neck, on my lower back, upper pecks and sort of my arm pit area and from what ive googled I THINK its hyperpigmentation.
