Disorders: Are they fact, or faked?

Disorders are fact. Diagnoses are just basically so insurance companies know what clinicians are referring to for billing purposes. However as far as autism goes, there is a wide spectrum. There are CEOs of companies who are on the autism spectrum. A disorder differs from a disease absolutely. However they are not an excuse as much as a description of behavior/thinking patterns. Someone who has severe mood swings due to chemical imbalances in their brain has a disorder that is not in their control however can be controlled with medication. In many cases disorders can cause people to have difficulty maintaining a job due to trouble dealing with other people due to their disorder or the stress of working is too great and has a negative impact on their well being.
