Injured in an car crash that was caused by another car. should I get a lawyer?

A day ago me and my bf was driving down the highway and all of the sudden we herd a huge crashing sound and then bam! We got hit in the back. The jeep spinned around and the guy that hit up was going 70 trying to pass lanes and hit the car beside us first and then hit us. It was pretty bad. My neck was really bad hurt. I'm wondering if I should get a lawyer. The guy that hit us acted has if he was high or drunk. Sorry for the bad spelling lol
