Are most people separated, divorced or single? do men and women have the same expectations?

What good is momentous happiness when long lasting displeasure overshadows it all? Lust and love die unless you are lucky so is falling in love with untrustworthy mortals that hurt each other no matter what worth it? Is risking our lives for a couple hours of sex worth it in a world where there is more room for error than not? Why do women want a perfect prince that will never exist? Why do men want whores? Why is the human brain wired to have instincts like procreation and thoughts like monogamy that contradict each other?
