Itching, microscopic bugs?

I can't see them. They are on some people and they jump on to me.. No, I'm not crazy. BUT, it is making me a little crazy. The people that they are on, do not seem to be bothered at all by the bugs. One of the people I work with has them. If I use the bathroom too soon after they do, I will be attacked and I will itch all day.. When I get home I will have to throw my clothes into the washer and then take a shower.. Unfortunately, they have gotten into parts of my house... It really sucks. I don't know how to kill them. I've actually set off bug bombs and left rooms closed for about a month.. Go back in and yup, they are still there. Vacuuming seems to help, but I don't know how to eradicate them. To make it worse they can get into my bed... No sleeping through that.. All linens have to be washed. ( I vacuum the mattress before I make the bed).... ANY HELP or suggestions would be greatly appreciated... Thanks.
