How do you feel about the possible existence of a multiverse?

I've been reading a book on the possible existence of multiple universes (obviously a contradictory statement, hence multiverse). I was wondering how religious (specifically Christian) people felt about this, because it may contradict things in the Bible that are taken at face-value. I also wonder how non-religious people feel about this, because some call religion "insanity" for it's lack of tangible proof, and this multiverse involves aspects that cannot be proved or sensed.
